All Things Grilling
Grilled Honey Mustard Chicken
I cannot believe that the summer season is officially over. It’s ridiculous on how fast it flew by lol. However, the first day of fall is on Thursday and I am very excited about this fall/autumn, as it is not only one of my favorite seasons but I too am looking forward to sharing a bunch of fall recipes with you as well. 🙂 Although, since I do live in the state of Texas I do admit that it sometimes can be challenging to get into the fall mood lol because it’s still so hot during the month of September.Â
So anyhow back to the original subject.
To properly finish the summer, I decided to use my grill pan to cook this Honey Mustard Chicken recipe. It’s so very yummy and relatively easy to prepare. I’m certain you and your family will love this dish.
Grilled Honey Mustard Chicken
Ingredients
1 lb Chicken Breasts, Boneless
3 Tbsp. of Mayonnaise
â…“ C. Dijon Mustard
¼ C. Honey
1½ tsp. Soy Sauce or Bragg as a substitute (I will write a little article about the brand Bragg’s and add their website link to this post so you can learn more about them and where you can usually find it.)
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
Instructions
1. Combine together in a small mixing bowl the Dijon mustard, Honey, Soy Sauce, and Lemon juice. Spoon out three tablespoons of the Honey Mustard mixture and put it into a small plastic air tight container. Set aside. Next, place the chicken breasts into the marinade and let the chicken sit in the mixture for eight hours to overnight in the refrigerator.
2. Heat the grill and or grill pan to medium-low heat and cook the chicken for six-seven minutes each side or until juices run clear, and the chicken reaches 170 degrees. Sauce: Add three tablespoons of mayo to the reserved Honey Mustard Sauce and drizzle over chicken breasts. Enjoy! 😀

Bragg is an all natural liquid and all-purpose seasoning. You can prepare it with pretty much anything from chicken to beef. My family loves to cook with it when we grill burgers. Click here to learn more about the brand. I also include a photo of the Bragg bottle to give you an idea of what to look for. They are usually located in the health food section and or with the salad dressings at your grocery store.
Zesty & Basil Grilled Pork Chops
I hope you all had a great and relaxing Labor Day Weekend! My family and I had a wonderful holiday weekend. I did not have to cook lol. My dad grilled sausage and burgers for dinner. For dessert, we had bundt cakes. The food tasted excellent! 😀
A few months ago, I mentioned in one of my posts that I feel like a pansy because of my low comfort level cooking with the grill. However, I have given it some consideration and decided that I’d gradually move up to this skill level. As I still would like to cook things on the grill, eventually. Therefore, to master this challenge I came up with a solution to some sort of degree lol, by purchasing myself a cast iron grill pan from my favorite online store Amazon. I received it today just in time for me to be able to cook these fantastic Lemon Basil Grilled Pork Chops. I’m pleased to say that I did a great job for my first time of using my new cooking toy. Haha! They were so juicy and tender. Yum, yum!
Lemon Basil Grilled Pork Chops
Ingredients
4 thick-cut, boneless pork loin chops
2 Tbsp. Olive oil
1 Tbsp. Basil leaves, minced
3 Tbsp. Minced garlic
3 Tbsp. Lemon juice
1 Tsp. salt
¾ Tsp. pepper
Instructions
1. Combine olive oil, basil, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a small bowl and mix well. Next, use a basting brush and or a spatula to coat both sides of your pork chops with the mixture. Place your chops in an airtight plastic container and cover. Let the chops marinate in the mixture for eight hours to overnight in the refrigerator.
2. Heat your grill (or grill pan) to medium-high heat. Grill the pork chops for about five to six minutes per side (depending on the pork chop thickness), or until they reach an internal temperature of 145 F.
